My Mango Day… :)

Morning, as I step out of my house,

In one of my favorite dress,

I tend to hear music coming from all directions.

Seems everyone on the street is greeting me,

With a big smile on their face.

The world looks more colorful today.

While working, while sleeping,

While walking down the street in my own pace and gait.

While dancing, while singing,

While kissing the angel , my neighbor’s baby girl.

While talking to myself, while day-dreaming,

While pulling the cheeks of the cute little boy waiting at the bus stop.

I feel as if you always keep looking at me and smiling,

Trying to capture all sorts of different expressions on my face,

Taking a deep breath, pretending to skip a heart beat,

feeling lucky to have me in your life.

Whenever I stand in-front of the mirror to get ready,

I see you  standing behind me,

Looking at me with the most beautiful smile on your face,

Gesturing me that I look beautiful today.

*

Tonight as I look at the moon,out from my window,

The soft breeze passes through my hair.

The soft breeze passes that through me, makes me shiver,

And it brings me your smell.

I stand there alone talking to the wind,

Requesting the humble wind to go to you,

And give you a feeling of me, my presence.

Requesting the silent wind to whisper in your ears,

That I love you.

Tonight, as I sleep,

My pillow reminds me of you,

The breeze sings to me while I sleep,

Takes me in a world of my favorite dreams,

Where I’m sleeping in your arms, safe and sound.

It gives the feeling as if you are there,

and will always be.

The Blind Faith…

She called up on his number,
to tell him how much she loves him,
the love that has only grown more over the years.

*

He answered the call in a blank mood,
she thought he may be tired after the hectic schedule,
but the night was odd, her stars were not right,
he gave no reason and said he had something in his mind.

*

She was concerned, wanted to know what was wrong,
she thought she could have helped,
and could have made things right.

*

He said it without taking a breadth,
the most unexpected thing in her life,
“I don’t want you by my side,
I have decide for myself ,
and its time for you to move on in life”

*

She knew it from her heart,
she cannot live without him.
She knew it from her soul,
that they were meant for each other.
She could not explain it to herself,
cause she dint know what went wrong.
She knew it strongly within,
that he was the only one,
and she can never love another soul.

*

She begged him for their love,
she asked to give one last chance to their relationship,
she pleaded, she cried, not to go away,
cause he was her life.

*

He walked away to her surprise,
saying he doesn’t need her anymore in her life.

*

She cried for months,
she called him a hundred times,
she was dying every moment,
she was living but not alive.

*

Today, she lay on a hospital bed,
after a horrible accident,
struggling to breathe but craving to die.
she asked everyone she wants to see him for one last time,
thinking may be now he would care,
if not for his girl friend, but for the fact that she had been his best friend.
He slammed down the phone saying he doesn’t care,
and not contact him even if she is dead.

Its been a year, since she heard his laugh and saw his smile,
she craves for his hug and fragrance of his presence,
she knows, she still loves him now and she’ll love him forever,
she strongly believes he will come back someday,
she still waits for him every day and every night.

P.S. If you truly love someone, you’ll definitely be with him someday.

This blind faith is called love, when love becomes your prayer, your God.

Happy Diwali all of you… I guess everyone would have had lot of fun cause after all it was DIWALI. Its about lights, lamps, diyas, rangolis, delicious food and of course crackers.

Dedicated to everyone who wonders,

If I’m writing about them?

I am.

My left neighbor, “CHIPKALI”,

With whom I have gossiped,

About all weird people we met in office,

Had a crush on the same person,

Finally settled on 50% crush each.

My “ADEEP-BDEEP- CDEEP”,

With whom I have laughed my heart out,

And called out each other’s name,

When we saw the water boy pass,

Had fun bugging the flying elephant,

And giggling for no reason.

My “RUSTED BRAIN”,

The times he argued with me,

On all the English errors he made,

Party shirts he wears to office,

and sings “Chalo Na” to imitate me.

* 

My “MUMMY FRIEND”,

Who always has been there for me,

Like a mummy.

With all the smileys

We irritate her with every day.

The times we spent chit chatting in the washroom.

My “TWEETY”,

Who makes sounds for everything,

Distributes sweets for wrong reasons,

Had been there while flipping all my “Trouble Tickets”.

My “PALLE”,

So called DUMBO, the flying elephant,

Whose center of gravity is always out his body,

He learnt not to fag in front of my face,

But always missing from his chair.

The only one who sincerely use to request songs

To be played by me.

My “TUMMY TAMMY”

Who is always dieting,

and drinking lemon tea,

But it’s of no use.

 *

My PD, 

Who never did my product descriptions,

Always glued to her Facebook profile,

and keeps asking people whether they are free,

So that she can assign her work.

* 

My “NAGGU”,

Who cries for everything,

And I hope,

She’ll start having her meals regularly,

Once I leave.

* 

The time spent were less,

But the memories of all the moments,

Working  on TT’s , laughing ,teasing, team lunchs, coffee breaks, gossiping,

Are enough to make them cherishable.

Will miss you all.
